15 minute mini lessons are recommended for either small children (ages 3-4), or anyone with a shorter attention span.  You know your child best.  We can always start here and move up as we see fit. Progress may be slower if only once a week.  This mini lesson works great as a class, meeting 2-3 times a week.

Half hour standard lessons are typical lesson times for ages 4 and up.  Lesson time is usually divided up between hands on the instrument and theory education. Solos are also learned if enough time is allowed.

45 minute intermediate lessons are highly recommended for those who just need a little more time.  Focus is a little more in-depth and able to be given to critical warm-ups, scales, fundamentals, and solos to help students grow into a more well-rounded musician.

Hour advanced lessons are for students who participate in competitions, auditions, etc.  A full hour gives an appropriate amount of time to focus on tone development, fundamentals, technique, audition music, solo repertoire, etc.
